Trade Floor Desktop Systems Engineer

In this role you support a fast-paced front-office trading environment, ensuring speed and reliability of critical systems. You will work closely with traders and cross-functional teams to own issues end-to-end and drive improvements across the user environment. The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with automation to reduce manual intervention, while evaluating new technologies to add value. Expect autonomy, rapid action, and a direct, no-nonsense working style in a serious trading setting.

• Support a front-office trading environment with emphasis on speed and reliability
• Manage and troubleshoot trading applications and user systems
• Own user onboarding, hardware rollout and device lifecycle
• Collaborate with trading, engineering and infrastructure teams globally
• Drive improvements across the user environment and tooling
• Automate workflows and reduce manual intervention across systems
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies that add value

• Experience supporting users and applications across Windows, Linux and macOS
• Background in trading or similarly high-pressure environments
• Comfort working directly with front-office users and time-critical systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills across OS, hardware and applications
• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python or similar)
• Ability to take ownership, prioritize, and deliver under pressure
• Clear communicator with direct, no-nonsense approach
• PowerShell or Python scripting
• Experience with Active Directory / Windows Server
• Exposure to endpoint management tooling
