Overview

In this role, you will provide front-to-back production support for the CIT commodities platform, ensuring reliable pricing, risk management, and reporting processes. You will work on a global, in-house system on the London trading floor, partnering with traders, risk managers, and back-office teams to resolve issues and implement improvements. The position includes first-line support duties with a rotating on-call/early shift, demanding strong problem-solving and clear communication. This is a hands-on, cross-team role that shapes the stability of critical trading functions.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and configure the CIT platform to maintain front-to-back functionality
  • Analyze and resolve production support issues (technical and functional)
  • Answer queries from CIT personnel across traders, risk, and operations; communicate issues and changes
  • Log incidents and coordinate with the Core Development Team for bug fixes and enhancements
  • Participate in first-line support rota (early shift; overnight/weekend on-call) and contribute to release management
Key requirements
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to learn diverse product and process knowledge across teams
  • Front-to-back process understanding
  • Knowledge of commodities/PNL/pricing is a plus
  • Intermediate SQL skills
  • Python or other programming languages
  • Windows infrastructure/servers expertise
  • Scripting languages (PowerShell, etc.) and Windows environment familiarity
