Overview

In this role you support a front-office trading environment, ensuring fast, reliable desktop systems and applications. You work closely with traders and cross-functional global teams to troubleshoot issues end-to-end and improve the technology stack. You own onboarding, hardware rollout, and device lifecycle while driving automation and evaluating new technologies. The position offers close involvement with the action and significant autonomy to enhance systems in a demanding, high-pressure setting.

Responsibilities
  • Support front-office trading environments with emphasis on speed and reliability
  • Manage and troubleshoot trading applications and user systems
  • Own user onboarding, hardware rollout and device lifecycle
  • Collaborate with trading, engineering and infrastructure teams globally
  • Drive improvements across user environment and tooling
  • Automate workflows to reduce manual intervention
  • Evaluate and introduce new technologies where value is added
Key requirements
  • Windows, Linux and macOS support experience
  • Trading or high-pressure environment background
  • Comfort working with front-office users and time-critical systems
  • Strong OS, hardware and application troubleshooting
  • Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python or similar)
  • Ability to take ownership, prioritise and deliver under pressure
  • DNS and DHCP experience
