As Trading Manager you will lead store-wide trading routines to maximise product availability and smooth promotions, ensuring safe, compliant aisles and a top shopping experience. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to develop your team, plan resources, and drive performance against targets. The role combines hands-on leadership with cross‑department collaboration to keep operations running smoothly and customers at the heart of every decision. • Lead and develop a fast-moving trading team, ensuring high standards of service and capability across departments
• Plan shift rotas, manage attendance, and deliver training to enable flexible deployment
• Plan resources and daily routines to maintain stock availability and promote promotions
• Oversee promotions and use customer feedback to improve standards
• Drive performance against operational and sales targets within the department
• Coordinate with other store departments to maintain smooth operations
• Ensure safety, legality, and readiness of aisles for trade
• Step up as Manager in Charge when required
