Trading Operations Engineer - Financial Services

Trading Operations Engineer to provide technical operations support for US and UK based desks. This individual is part of the firm’s Technology division but sits on the trading desk and is embedded in the technical operations processes of the firm.

The task set is roughly split evenly between desk facing activities and light coding tasks often in collaboration with full time development staff.

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

This fully in-person role is based at the firm’s Manhattan headquarters but occasional travel to London should be expected.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• First point of contact for traders

• Install, configure and monitor critical trading applications

• Incident management via ticketing system and documentation xhqgsiq

• Collaborate with developers for all operational processes supporting trading applications

Required skills:

• Experience with Python, bash and MySQL on Linux is required

• Excellent communication skills
