Trading Support Engineer – Linux + Windows

Overview
As Trading Support Engineer you will support and optimize the trading tech stack across Linux, Windows, and mobile endpoints in a 24/7, high‑pressure environment. You collaborate closely with traders, developers and infrastructure teams to keep a world‑class trading ecosystem healthy and responsive. You drive automation initiatives and monitoring to improve reliability and speed to market for new trading tech. The role sits at the intersection of execution, infrastructure and software, enabling efficient London trading workflows. This is a hands‑on role with a firm known for intellectual rigour and ambitious alpha generation.
Responsibilities
- Deploying and supporting Windows, Linux, and Mac OS
- Deploying and supporting IOS and Android mobile devices
- Maintaining the health and availability of a world class trading ecosystem
- Collaborating with stakeholders and other technical services teams to plan and deliver new trading technology and systems
- Advancing automation and monitoring practices for the region
- Improving support tools and processes
Key requirements
- At least 2 years’ professional Linux systems experience
- Scripting and Automation
- Experience deploying and supporting infrastructure hosting proprietary and third‑party trading applications on Windows and Linux
- Thrives in high‑pressure environments with traders and developers
