Overview

In this role you will design and support highly available trading systems as part of a global, collaborative team. You enable traders and developers by delivering stable, high-performance infrastructure for mission-critical applications. You will operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment across desks, developers and engineers, shaping the tooling and platforms used at the bleeding edge of trading. This is a hybrid City-based position with a relaxed, open culture and strong emphasis on thoughtful, high-quality technical decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Design and support highly available systems across a diverse technology stack
  • Provide stable infrastructure for trading desks, developers and internal teams
  • Enable traders and engineers to run applications at the cutting edge
  • Maintain performance and reliability for mission-critical systems under pressure
  • Collaborate with global teams in a close, cross-functional environment
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in trade support or site reliability engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field
  • Familiarity with trading platforms and financial markets
  • Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
  • Linux/Unix environments proficiency
  • Scripting in Python and Bash for automation
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries
  • Basic networking knowledge (multicast, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and common troubleshooting tools
