Training and Requirements Lead

In this role you translate customer needs into defined training requirements and deliver innovative training solutions for defence and regulated sectors. You work with cross-functional teams on the full training lifecycle, from discovery to through-life support, focusing on DSAT/JSP 822 methodologies. You will shape simulation-based, virtual, and conventional training approaches and ensure traceability from needs to acceptance evidence. • Support customer discovery activities and capture user needs and training requirements
• Contribute to Training Needs Analysis (TNA), including role analysis and gap assessments
• Apply defence training methodologies (DSAT, JSP 822) or equivalent
• Draft user/system/service requirements and acceptance plans
• Maintain requirements traceability across needs, learning outcomes, and acceptance evidence
• Support verification, validation and acceptance activities with proper documentation
• Contribute to analysis, design, evaluation and assurance of simulation-based, virtual, immersive and conventional training solutions
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, systems engineers and delivery teams
• Support consultancy, bid preparation, R&D activities and continuous improvement
• Identify and escalate risks related to technical training and acceptance

• Experience in analysis, design or delivery of technical/operational training in defence or regulated environments
• Working knowledge of DSAT and JSP 822 or equivalent
• Experience writing requirements or supporting acceptance with traceability
• Understanding of simulation, virtual and conventional training solutions
• Experience with customers and multidisciplinary project teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for workshops
