Transactional Margin Analyst

Analyze transactional margins at Univar Solutions Canada Ltd while applying root cause analysis and cross-functional problem-solving. Support financial improvement through precise reporting.

The Margin Analyst identifies and resolves contribution margin loss while preventing recurring issues. You will analyze discrepancies, determine root causes, and partner with commercial and functional teams. The work supports corrective actions, preventive measures, and stronger financial results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze transactional margin activity and identify recovery opportunities
• Review transactions with contribution margin of ≤ -$200
• Partner with teams to resolve margin issues
• Conduct root cause analysis and improve processes
• Prepare and distribute routine margin reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Two or more years in a related function
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate across functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
