Transformation Projects- IT General Controls -Senior Manager – London

Our client is seeking a Transformation IT General Controls Senior Manager to work on transformation projects in IT general controls (ITGC) for their clients in primarily the FS sector. This role will ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, optimize ITGC processes, and enhance IT risk management to support business continuity and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the transformation of IT general controls within operations.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and insurance-specific regulations
• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in IT systems.
• Design and implement control testing procedures
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support compliance efforts.
• Maintain documentation related to IT controls and regulatory requirements.
• Provide training to IT teams on compliance and risk management.
• Monitor and report on ITGC effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement.
• Support digital transformation initiatives while maintaining strong IT governance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT audit, ITGC, or compliance
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or similar are preferred.
• An understanding of insurance regulations (preferred /not essential), IT risk management, and cybersecurity
• Proven experience in control testing and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
