Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist for a Level II Trauma Center requiring 2+ years of Echo-cardiology experience and current Adult Echo and vascular ultrasound registry.

Details

• Work in the Echocardiology department of a full-service regional hospital with a Level II Trauma Center and Level 1 ICU
• Patient population ranges from neonatal to geriatric, primarily being evaluated for cardiac issues via ultrasound testing
• Patients can be of high acuity with regular exposure to body fluids and blood
• Facility operates 7 days a week
• Shift runs 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with scheduled on-call during nights and weekends

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience or completion of an accredited course in Echo-cardiology
• Current registry or certification in Adult Echo required
• Current registry or certification in vascular ultrasound required
• Must be working toward attaining registries in all accredited areas
• ARDMS or ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Role involves performing cardiac ultrasound testing in a fast-paced, stat-driven environment
• Must be a team player with flexibility to adapt to a potentially stressful work setting
• Follow assigned unit dress code and present a professional image
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
