Travel Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer - Echo/Cardiac

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer for a Noninvasive Cardiology unit, requiring RDCS/RCS certification and 2+ years of registered echocardiography experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years current experience as a registered echocardiography sonographer
• RDCS or RCS certification required
• CPR certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with a focus in echocardiography
• Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Work in the Noninvasive Cardiology department
• 4x10 hour shifts on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Uses Epic for charting
• Perform quality and complete echocardiogram studies
• Ability to work independently and function unsupervised with sound technical judgment
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of Boston, at a reduced rate
