American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with 2+ years of current MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification for a teaching hospital's Radiology department.
Details- Work in the Radiology department of a 298-bed teaching hospital offering 24-hour diagnostic imaging services
- 8-hour night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 40 hours per week
- Approximately 9 patients per shift
- Always paired with another Tech Aide or MRI Tech, never working solo
- After midnight, department coverage is handled by on-call staff
- Uses GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment
- Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
- Possible on-call requirements
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends
- Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience required
- ARRT (MR) certification required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- GE equipment experience required
- Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
- Must have own vehicle
- License required if applicable
- Compact license not accepted
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required
- 26-week assignment
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
- Candidates must disclose all requested time off at the time of submission, as RTO requests after offer will not be approved
- No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted for the duration of the assignment
- Not all holidays may be taken off; must work one full holiday block (Christmas Eve through the weekend after New Year's Day) if scheduled
- First-time travelers may be considered
