Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift hospital position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active Ohio RRT license.

Details

• Respiratory unit setting on night shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 18:30 to 7:00
• Weekend coverage as needed
• May float to other facility locations within the health system as needed
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
• Active Ohio RRT license required (license required if applicable)
• NBRC certification required
• BLS certification required
• AHA certifications must be active at time of consideration, no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required
• Negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start, updated annually

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy and neuro diagnostic services as part of the respiratory care team
• Smoke-free facility requiring nicotine-free status with no exceptions
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Background check findings of any kind are reviewed by the facility, and no license violations are accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
