Overview

In this UAT Lead role, you will own end-to-end User Acceptance Testing for technology transformation and system implementation programmes. You will drive planning, governance and execution to ensure business requirements are met and deployment-ready solutions. You will coordinate test artefacts, manage schedules and tester readiness, and produce evidence and closure reports. This role sits at the heart of go-live readiness, enabling successful transitions with minimal business disruption.

Responsibilities
  • Lead UAT planning, governance and execution from preparation through to closure
  • Coordinate the development of test scenarios, scripts and business test data
  • Manage UAT schedules, resources and tester readiness
  • Monitor test progress, coverage, defects, risks and dependencies
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, testing meetings and status reporting
  • Coordinate defect triage and resolution with functional and technical teams
  • Ensure test evidence is captured and maintained within agreed testing tools
  • Drive business acceptance, sign-off and go-live readiness, producing closure reports and deployment recommendations
Key requirements
  • Experience leading UAT for large transformation or system implementation programmes
  • Strong IT testing knowledge, including business process testing and defect management
  • Experience using test management tools such as Azure DevOps, ALM or JIRA
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills
  • Strong planning, governance, reporting and organisational capabilities
