Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of advanced surgical platforms (sensor-integrated instruments and robotic systems)
- Apply ultrasound expertise across the full development lifecycle from exploration to deployment
- Engage with clients to help define strategy and deliver commercially valuable results
- Build profile within the surgical technology community and collaborate with peers across projects
Key requirements
- PhD in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline with specialist ultrasound focus
- Deep expertise in ultrasound applications (acoustic sensing, imaging, transducer technologies)
- Familiarity with transducer architecture, signal interpretation, high-speed electronics, imaging algorithms, regulatory compliance, or acoustic measurement
- Technically accomplished with strategic mindset and ability to navigate complex technical challenges
