The UNIX Midrange Support Specialist supports, maintains, and secures server infrastructure across Unix and Microsoft platforms. The work includes Microsoft Server, Azure, IBM Storage, and backup technologies. It also involves troubleshooting, permissions, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, maintain, and monitor Red Hat, SuSe, and AIX systems
• Support Microsoft Server and Azure administration
• Troubleshoot server, application, and infrastructure issues
• Manage role-based access and system permissions
• Participate in after-hours on-call support rotation

Requirements:

• Three to five years administering Red Hat, SuSe, and AIX
• Microsoft Server and Azure administration experience
• IBM Storage, including SVC, and backup support experience
• Security best practices and permission management familiarity
• Two to four years post-secondary technical education
