Upstream Accounting Reporting Specialist

Upstream accounting and SAP expertise define this St. John’s assignment supporting Equinor through NSB Omega. Deliver accurate production, revenue, and royalty reporting.

This accounting and reporting assignment covers production revenue accounting, royalty payments, regulatory filings, and financial analysis. The successful candidate supports offshore sales accounting, direct tax compliance, internal controls, and quarterly reporting. Experience in oil and gas upstream accounting is required, while production revenue accounting and direct tax compliance experience are advantages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce timely production, revenue, and royalty accounting
• Submit monthly and period-end royalty and NPI reporting
• Coordinate royalty audits and respond to audit queries
• Process offshore sales accruals, invoices, and SAP entries
• Prepare reconciliations, controls, and finance reporting

Requirements:

• BA in Accounting or Finance
• Experience in oil and gas upstream accounting
• Knowledge of IFRS and SOX key controls
• Experience with SAP, SBC, FA, SPC, or BlackLine
• Strong communication, analytical, and data presentation skills
