Urgent Care Physician

Urgent Care Provider Opening in WI Located in Baldwin, WI - Minneapolis 45mPosition Highlights:

• Part-time, 0.6 FTE urgent care opportunity
• 48 hours per bi-weekly pay period
• Outpatient urgent care setting
• Open to Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants
• Practice independently as part of a physician/advanced practice provider team
• Provide clinical care and comprehensive patient assessments
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and conditions
• Order and interpret medical diagnostics
• Prescribe medications, treatments, therapy, and medical equipment
• Provide patient education for illness management and wellness care
• Refer patients for specialty care when appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Serve as a liaison with the Emergency Department and inpatient unit
• Participate in program development and initiatives to increase community access to care
Schedule:
• 0.6 FTE
• 48 hours per bi-weekly pay period
• Primarily evening shifts until 7pm
• One Saturday per month, 8am-2pm
• Urgent Care hours Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm
• Saturday hours, 8am-2pm
• Holiday hours, 8am-2pm
Qualifications:
• Physician candidates must be graduates of an accredited medical school and have completed residency training
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, if applicable
• Wisconsin medical license or eligibility to obtain
• Ability to obtain and maintain DEA certification in Wisconsin
• Must meet credentialing and privileging requirements
