Urgent Care Physician Assistant

A healthcare network in New Jersey is actively seeking a licensed medical professional to join one of its urgent care medical practices in Northern New Jersey. This role involves providing walk-in urgent care services in a high-volume clinical setting.

About the Opportunity:

• Assignment Length: 6+ months
• Hours: 11am to 9pm (Mon to Thurs); 11am to 10pm (Fri & Sat); and, 11am to 7pm (Sundays)
• Setting: Urgent Care

Responsibilities:

• Provide urgent care evaluations and treatment for walk-in patients across a broad range of acute conditions
• Perform laceration repair and suturing procedures as needed
• Manage an average daily patient volume of approximately 40 patients
• Collaborate with onsite clinical support staff, including a CMA and practice manager
• Deliver consistent single-provider coverage during scheduled shifts

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey medical license.
• DEA registration
• Experience as a Physician, Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) in an Urgent Care or similar clinical setting
