Med Ninjas is seeking a Urologist for long-term locum tenens coverage at an inpatient and outpatient facility located in Pendleton, Oregon.
The physician must be available for the complete scheduled coverage blocks, with coverage expected to begin in December for up to 12 months.
This assignment includes outpatient urology clinic, hospital coverage, surgery, and 24-hour call Monday through Thursday during assigned coverage weeks. Fridays are clinic-only, with no call.

Locum Physician Urology Pendleton, OR
Shift: Varied schedule; 1 2 weeks per month
Start Date: December 2026 (exact date TBD)
End Date: Up to 12 months from start
Position Details: Urology coverage at CHI St. Anthony Hospital
Patient Population: Urology patients, including adult and pediatric cases as applicable
Setting: Hospital and physician clinic
Responsibilities: Clinic patient care, surgery, hospital emergencies, admissions, and on-call coverage
Required Procedures: General urology procedures, including cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, TURP, prostate biopsy, stent placement, and other listed procedures. No Da Vinci robotics required.
EMR System: Meditech and eClinicalWorks
Support Staff: Clinic medical assistants, perioperative nurses, and clinic RNs
Days Per Month: Approximately 1 2 weeks of coverage per month
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call Monday through Thursday during assigned coverage weeks; no call on Friday. Weekend requirements to be confirmed.

Required Procedures and Skills

The physician must be comfortable managing a broad range of urology cases and performing procedures currently handled by the facility's urologist, including:

• Cystoscopy, cystoscopy with stent placement, bladder biopsy, Botox injection, and other cystoscopic procedures

• Ureteroscopy and laser lithotripsy

• TURP and prostate biopsy

• Circumcision, dorsal slit, orchiopexy, and hydrocelectomy

• UroLift, bladder irrigation, and suprapubic catheter placement

• Excision of cysts, condyloma, spermatoceles, and other applicable lesions

• Sacral neuromodulation and related procedures

• Stone extraction and other general urologic surgical procedures

Important: Da Vinci robotic surgery is not required. The physician must be able to see a minimum of 17 clinic patients daily and fill available surgery slots.

Schedule Details

Monday Thursday:

• Surgery: 7:00 AM 2:00 PM

• Clinic: 3:00 PM 5:00 PM

• 24-hour call

Friday:

• Clinic: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

• No call

Requirements

• Board certification highly preferred; board-eligible candidates may be considered if recently out of residency and expected to obtain board certification within 12 months.

• Oregon medical license highly preferred; candidates willing to obtain an Oregon license during credentialing may be considered.

• Completion of residency required.

• Current BLS certification and DEA registration required.

• Clean malpractice history highly preferred.

• Availability at the time of name clearance highly preferred.

• Credentialing timeframe: approximately days.
