Urology Physician

Schedule & Responsibilities:

• Monday Thursday: 24-hour call coverage, including surgery and clinic.
• Surgery: 7:00 AM 2:00 PM.
  
• Clinic: 3:00 PM 5:00 PM.
  
• Friday: Clinic only, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, with no call.
• Attend to clinic patients, perform surgeries, and manage hospital emergencies and admissions.
  
• Must be able to see a minimum of 17 patients daily in clinic and fill surgery slots.

Clinical Requirements:

• Perform adult and pediatric urology procedures.
  
• Common procedures include cystoscopy, stent placement, ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, prostate biopsy, hydrocelectomy, orchiopexy, circumcision, bladder Botox injections, and suprapubic catheter placement.
  
• Additional procedures include bladder biopsies, UroLift, sacral neuromodulation, and other routine urological surgeries.
• Robotic surgery / Da Vinci experience is not required.

Support Staff:

• Clinic Medical Assistants
  
• Registered Nurses
  
• Perioperative Nursing Team

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified in Urology preferred.
  
• Board Eligible candidates accepted if recently out of residency and willing to obtain board certification within 12 months.
  
• Oregon medical license preferred; candidates willing to obtain an Oregon license during credentialing may be considered.
  
• Completed residency required.
  
• BLS and DEA required.
  
• Clean malpractice history preferred.
  
• Availability at the time of presentation preferred.
