Practice Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient
Privileges: Hospital + Clinic

Schedule:

  • 8-hour clinic shifts, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Typical schedule: 3 clinic days + 1 OR day during the call week
  • When not on call: approximately 4 clinic days + 1 OR day
  • 7 days of unrestricted call per month
  • Call is restricted/beeper with a 10-minute return-call response
  • 30-minute radius requirement (may be 45 minutes)

Patient Volume:

  • Approx. 18 patients/day
  • Adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients

Procedures:

  • Catheter placement
  • Stent placement
  • Cystoscopy
  • TURP
  • Ureteroscopy
  • Prostate biopsy
  • Circumcision
  • Shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)
  • Orchiopexy
  • TURBT
  • Hydrocelectomy
  • Spermatocelectomy
  • PVP
  • Litholapaxy

Clinical Scope:

  • Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction
  • Kidney stones
  • Male incontinence
  • Cystoscopies
  • Surgical assistance
  • Standard urology procedures in clinic and OR

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Urology
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • 100 surgical procedures documented within the previous 24 months
  • Epic experience
  • Da Vinci experience is a plus, not required

Licenses Required:

  • Washington medical license
  • IMLC accepted with LOQ in hand
  • BLS
  • ACLS

Additional Call Details:

  • Approximately 0 4 after-hours texts/calls
