Urology Physician Job Requirements

• Physician with at least 1 year of clinical experience in urology
• Board certification in urology required
• Current BLS certification required
• Appropriate physician credentials and eligibility to practice in Indiana
• Ability to complete the credentialing process, which may take approximately 90 days
• Experience caring for adult and pediatric urology patients preferred
• Advanced procedural and surgical experience preferred, including endoscopic, laparoscopic, robotic, ureteroscopic, and stone-management procedures

Urologist Responsibilities

• Provide continuous 24/7 urology call coverage
• Round on urology inpatients during daytime hours
• Evaluate and manage emergency department and inpatient urology consultations
• Perform on-call urologic surgeries and procedures as clinically indicated
• Deliver timely consultations, diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with hospital-based teams to support safe, high-quality patient care
