Physician - Urology


Job Details:

  • Inpatient only urology coverage needed on a locum tenens basis

  • Weekday only coverage, Monday 7:00 AM through Friday 7:00 AM

  • Prefer candidates who can cover at least 2 of the following weeks and provide ongoing coverage:

  • October 5 9

  • November 2 6

  • November

  • December

  • December 28 January 1

  • Approximately 5 patient encounters per shift

  • Board certification required

  • General Urology experience required, including adult and ureteroscopy

  • Pediatric urology experience preferred

  • Advanced endoscopic techniques preferred

  • Laparoscopic surgery experience preferred

  • Percutaneous nephrolithotomy experience preferred

  • Radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit experience preferred

  • Radical prostatectomy experience preferred

  • Nephrectomy and prostatectomy experience preferred

  • Pelvic node dissection experience preferred

  • Renal and bladder ultrasound experience preferred

  • Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS

  • Flexibility to work across multiple facilities preferred

    This is a large regional health system operating multiple hospital campuses across North Carolina, providing a full range of inpatient and outpatient medical services. The urology department supports a 130-bed census and serves a diverse patient population across several facilities. The health system is committed to delivering high-quality specialty care and offers a collaborative, well-resourced clinical environment for locum providers.
