Physician - Urology


Job Details:

  • Locum tenens urology coverage providing inpatient call coverage on a 24-hour beeper call schedule

  • Coverage need is approximately 1 week per month, with providers scheduled for 3 to 4 24-hour call shifts per week

  • Additional shifts may be available if provider is comfortable with the census and working consecutive 24-hour call shifts

  • Shift times run 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM

  • Average callback is approximately 4 to 5 hours daily, varying based on cases

  • Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift

  • General urology skills required with adult patient population

  • Preferred skills include percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)

  • Active or IMLC license required; DEA required; board certification required

  • BLS certification required
