• Required Coverage: November 25 at 7:00 a.m. through November 27 at 7:00 a.m., and December 23 at 7:00 a.m. through December 26 at 7:00 a.m.
• Scheduling Requirement: Candidates must be available for all listed coverage dates; partial coverage is not available
• Patient Volume: Approximately 10 patient encounters per shift

Urology Physician Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of clinical experience in urology
• Active Maryland medical license
• Board certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Broad general urology experience preferred
• Experience with adult and pediatric urology preferred
• Advanced endoscopic, laparoscopic, ureteroscopy, and percutaneous nephrolithotomy experience preferred
• Experience with robotic procedures, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, cystectomy, adrenalectomy, and related urologic surgeries preferred
• Experience with renal and bladder ultrasound, TRUS biopsies, incontinence procedures, fertility evaluations, and ESWL preferred

Locum Tenens Urology Physician Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urologic evaluation and treatment for patients in an on-site hospital setting
• Manage approximately 10 patient encounters per shift
• Perform consultations, diagnostic assessments, procedures, and follow-up care within the scope of urology practice
• Apply appropriate expertise in general, adult, and pediatric urology as needed
• Perform or assist with advanced endoscopic, laparoscopic, robotic, and stone-management procedures when clinically indicated
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support safe, timely, and high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and comply with applicable clinical and credentialing requirements
