Urology Physician

We are seeking an experienced Urologist for immediate locum coverage in South Carolina, beginning with a concentrated December January coverage block followed by ongoing monthly coverage until a permanent physician is hired.

Assignment Details

• Initial coverage requested: December 18 January 3
• Beginning January 2027: 7 10 shifts per month
• Temporary privileges will be requested for the initial December January coverage
• Clear background required for temporary privileges

Schedule

• Monday Friday clinic
• Night call required
• Weekend 24-hour call required
• Specific clinic and call hours were not provided

Practice Setting

• Urology
• Approximately 25 patients per day
• Epic EMR
• 2 additional Urologists on staff
• 2 Nurse Practitioners on staff

The practice offers a range of onsite Urology equipment and technology, including:

• New da Vinci robotic surgical system
• Urodynamic testing equipment
• Bladder scanner
• Cystoscopy equipment
• Rectal ultrasound equipment

Requirements

• Physician/Urologist
• Active South Carolina medical license required
• Epic experience required
• Clear background required

Credentialing

• Temporary privileges available

Ideal Candidate

An experienced Urologist with an active South Carolina license and Epic experience who can assist with the initial December January coverage and provide 7 10 shifts per month on an ongoing basis while the practice recruits a permanent physician.
