Coverage & Schedule Details

  • Coverage Type: Hospital-based, 24-hour call coverage

  • Weekend Schedule: Friday at 12:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM

  • Coverage Period: January-June 2027

  • Call Frequency: 24-hour call coverage

  • Patient Volume: Approximately 1-5 cases per call shift

  • Patient Population: Primarily adults age 18 and older

  • EMR: Epic

  • Trauma Level: Level II

  • January 8-11, 2027

  • January 15-18, 2027

  • January 22-25, 2027

  • February 19-22, 2027

  • February 26-March 1, 2027

  • March 5-8, 2027

  • March 19-22, 2027

  • March 26-29, 2027

  • April 2-5, 2027

  • April 16-19, 2027

  • April 23-26, 2027

  • April 30-May 3, 2027

Additional weekend coverage is requested every Friday at 12:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM, beginning January 1 through the weekend of June 4, 2027. Weekday shifts are variable.

Clinical Responsibilities & Required Skills

  • Provide general inpatient urology coverage and surgical care.

  • Perform stent placement.

  • Perform ureteroscopy.

  • Provide stone treatment and removal.

  • Perform other general urologic surgeries as needed.

  • Utilize general urology equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Board Certified in Urology

  • Active Wisconsin medical license or IMLC accepted

  • Strong general urology surgical skills

  • Comfortable managing a variable hospital-based surgical caseload
