• Weekly Estimated Pay: $8,920-$9,560

General Urologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience practicing general urology
• Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in New Jersey
• Board certification or eligibility in Urology
• Ability to provide backup attending coverage for urgent urologic cases in a trauma-center environment
• Availability to respond within 30 minutes when an in-person evaluation or operative intervention is necessary
• Successful completion of credentialing and privileging requirements

Locum Tenens Urology Responsibilities

• Provide backup attending coverage for urology call while residents manage initial calls and evaluations
• Respond to overnight urologic emergencies and urgent urology consultations
• Round on new urology consults during assigned weekends for several hours as needed
• Review resident evaluations, clinical plans, and documentation
• Provide attending oversight for cases requiring operative intervention and participate in the operating room with the resident when indicated
• Deliver timely consultation and clinical decision-making for emergency urologic conditions
• Focus coverage on emergency and consultative needs; routine clinic and scheduled operating room coverage are not included
