Locums Urology Portsmouth, OH (OH or IMLC) Why This Role

- Locums-to-perm potential Assignment Details
- Start/end: November 2026, ongoing
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8a-4:30p; 3-4 half-day clinics; beeper call
- Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call
- Call response: 30 minutes
- Volume: 15-20 office patients/day; 4-8 hospital procedures/day
- Setting: Inpatient + outpatient; 2 procedure rooms, 1 UDS room, and 6 exam rooms
- Support: 2 NPs, 3 Medical Office Assistants, 6 clinical staff, 1 surgery scheduler, and 1 UDS technician
- EMR: MediTech
- Credentialing: 90 days Clinical Details
- Required scope: General urology, advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgery, PCNL, ureteroscopy, renal/bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, and incontinence procedures
- Office procedures include vasectomy, prostate biopsy, cystoscopy with stent removal, and prostate ultrasound
- Hospital scope includes broad endoscopic, stone, prostate, renal, reconstructive, and urologic procedures
- Robotic surgery not required
- Physician will supervise APPs and provide resident/teaching supervision Requirements
- BC in Urology required
- License: OH or IMLC
- ACLS and BLS required
- Active DEA Compensation
- Rate negotiable, open to your number
- Malpractice provided
- Travel and lodging reimbursed
