Locums - Fond du Lac, Wisconsin Urology Opportunity

Clinical Role

RecruitWell is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist for an inpatient locums opportunity in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. This assignment consists primarily of weekend inpatient coverage, daily rounding, and 24-hour call coverage beginning in December 2026.

Assignment Details

• Start date: December 7, 2026

• Hospital setting

• Inpatient Urology coverage

• Approximately two weekends of coverage per month

• Patient population: Adolescents and older

• Weekend procedural volume: Approximately 2-3 cases

Schedule & Coverage

• Call coverage: 7:00 am-7:00 am

• 24-hour call shifts

• Two weekends per month beginning December 2026

• One coverage block: Thursday-Sunday

• Additional coverage block: Friday-Sunday

• Daily inpatient rounding required during coverage periods

Practice Setting & Case Mix

• Inpatient Urology

• Hospital-based coverage

• Weekend census varies

• Approximately 2-3 cases on weekends

• Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient Urology coverage

• Complete daily rounding

• Evaluate and manage Urologic conditions requiring inpatient care

• Respond to Urologic consults and urgent needs during call

• Provide procedural coverage as clinically indicated

Procedures & Skills

Procedural responsibilities may include:

• Scrotal procedures

• Endoscopic Urology procedures

• General surgical support in rare trauma cases

• Other standard inpatient Urologic procedures as needed

Support & Technology

• EMR: Epic

• Standard Urology equipment available

• Urology department includes:

  • 3 physicians

  • 2 APPs

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology required

• Active Wisconsin medical license required
