Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call (Mix of clinic and beeper call)
Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing (Specific holiday coverage needed for Thanksgiving & Christmas)
Number of Providers Needed: 1 (Multiple providers accepted)
Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
Patient Volume: patients per shift (Clinic); 2 4 daily inpatient rounding; 5 7 consults per day
Support Staff: 1 RN, 2 PAs/NPs, 8 Office Staff
EMR System: Epic
Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible required (ABU or AOBS)
License Requirement: Active Pennsylvania Medical License or active IMLC eligibility required

Position Overview:
A health system in Pennsylvania is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for locum tenens coverage starting ASAP on an ongoing basis. The role involves a combination of outpatient clinic coverage, inpatient rounding, daily consults, and beeper call. Immediate priorities include holiday coverage for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Temporary privileges are available with an expedited 14-day credentialing timeframe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide combination coverage of outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding (2 4 patients/day), and consult responses (5 7 consults/day).
  
• Provide beeper call coverage (typically 3 4 days of call per week).
  
• Perform core adult urological procedures, including ureteroscopy and general urology interventions.
  
• Utilize Epic EMR for all clinical documentation, rounding notes, and orders.
  
• Work alongside dedicated clinic and inpatient support staff, including 2 PAs/NPs and specialized nursing personnel.
