User Research Analyst Technical Safety BC

Lead client discovery for Technical Safety BC, using qualitative analysis and facilitation to guide decisions during a major transformation initiative.

Smart, Savvy + Associates is partnering with Technical Safety BC on a newly created User Research Analyst role. You will recruit clients, lead focus groups and interviews, analyze qualitative and quantitative information, and share findings. Your work will help teams understand how changes are landing, where friction exists, and what should change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit clients using screeners, outreach approaches, and participant pipelines
• Lead focus groups, interviews, and discovery activities
• Analyze research for patterns, themes, and emerging needs
• Synthesize findings into practical insights for teams and leaders
• Conduct continuous discovery as client-facing changes develop

Requirements:

• Five or more years conducting user, client, market, or applied research
• Strong qualitative research, analysis, and synthesis skills
• Experience recruiting participants and developing research screeners
• Confidence independently facilitating interviews and focus groups
• Strong interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills
