Role Overview

We are seeking an

SC Cleared User Researcher

to support a Central Government programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering user research activities, helping teams understand user needs and ensuring services are designed around evidence-based insights.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, conduct and analyse qualitative and quantitative user research. Engage with users and stakeholders to understand needs, behaviours and pain points. Produce clear research findings and actionable recommendations. Support multidisciplinary teams in applying user-centred design principles. Facilitate workshops, interviews, usability testing and discovery activities. Present insights to stakeholders and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills & Experience

Active

SC Clearance . Proven experience as a

User Researcher

within

Central Government

or Public Sector environments. Experience working within

Agile, multidisciplinary teams . Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to translate complex research findings into clear recommendations. Familiarity with

GDS service standards

and user-centred design practices.

Desirable
