User Researcher
G Digital
We're working with a global technology consultancy that's growing its User-Centred Design (UCD) practice, and they're on the hunt for a Senior User Researcher who knows how to turn genuine user insight into meaningful change.
Think large-scale digital transformation, complex challenges, multidisciplinary teams and projects that actually make a difference. This isn't just about conducting research. It's about having a seat at the table, challenging assumptions and making sure real user needs are driving decisions.
So, what will you be getting up to?
- Leading end-to-end user research across complex digital transformation programmes.
- Using qualitative and quantitative research methods to uncover what users really need.
- Turning research findings into actionable recommendations that influence products and services.
- Collaborating with Service Designers, Content Designers, Product Managers and wider Agile teams.
- Building relationships with senior stakeholders and championing user centered thinking.
- Supporting and mentoring other researchers while contributing to a growing UCD community.
Now, what are we looking for?
We're after someone who's been around the User Research block a few times and can confidently lead research from discovery through to delivery.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Strong experience delivering User Research within Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
- A solid understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Experience working in consultancy or client-facing environments.
- Confidence engaging with stakeholders, facilitating workshops and influencing decisions.
- The ability to take complex research findings and turn them into clear, practical recommendations.
- Experience with GDS, NHS Service Standards or public sector digital transformation would be a BIG bonus.
And what's in it for you?
- Salary up to £70,000
- Hybrid and flexible working
- Private medical insurance for you and your dependants
- Generous annual leave + bank holidays
- Learning, development and professional certifications
- Enhanced family-friendly policies, wellbeing support and a whole host of other benefits.
You’ll be joining an established global organisation with a growing UCD practice, plenty of opportunity to develop and the chance to work on projects that genuinely improve people's experiences.
