Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a VC Partner at Backseat Venture. The VC Partner will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, negotiating deals, and managing portfolio companies. The VC Partner will also be involved in fund management, investor relations, and strategy development.

Qualifications

• Financial analysis, investment evaluation, and due diligence skills
• Negotiation and deal structuring skills
• Portfolio management and fund management experience
• Investor relations and communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and strategic thinking
• Knowledge and experience in the venture capital industry and trends
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in tech, startups, and related industries
• Working abroad experience in ASEAN, MENA, EU

Requirements

• In spite of the remote nature of this job, you must be a Canadian tax resident.
