In this role you will deliver highly complex, scalable software for a leading financial services firm, shaping reliable systems and guiding best practices across engineering. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to drive quality, automation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, Agile environment. You’ll mentor juniors, lead design sessions, and advocate TDD and CI to uplift the development discipline. Responsibilities
  • Deliver complex, scalable software with a focus on quality and reliability
  • Lead and contribute to technical and design workshops
  • Uphold and promote TDD, CI, and automation
  • Mentor junior team members and drive upskilling across the department
  • Perform thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with Development and Architecture teams to define best practices
  • Support deployment and adoption of new tools to improve efficiency
Key requirements
  • Hands-on development with .NET and C# (latest versions)
  • Expert knowledge of design patterns, SOLID, and architectural patterns
  • Expert knowledge of OOP
  • Experience with Agile delivery (SCRUM preferred)
  • Experience delivering high-volume, highly available enterprise applications
  • Good knowledge of database systems and design
  • Strong knowledge of TDD, CI, and automation
  • Ability to critically analyze designs and code and provide feedback
  • Ability to document effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
