Vice President, Production Services Application Support

In this role you lead the Production Services Application Support for FX Execution Services, focusing on stabilizing platforms and reducing operational risk. You will own cross-regional incident, problem, and change management, driving automation and observability to improve service quality. You’ll partner with engineering and business teams to remediate systemic issues and elevate availability and resilience, while mentoring a high-performing global team. This is a strategic leadership role at a top financial services firm enabling transformation in front-to-back FX trading platforms.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent experience; advanced degree is a plus
- Experience in global production services or application support for mission-critical platforms across multiple regions (follow-the-sun)
- Proven track record in leading incident, problem, and change management with measurable stability improvements
- Automation-first and AI-enabled mindset with tooling, observability, and process automation experience
- Strong ownership mentality from concept to delivery with sustainable outcomes
- Deep technical/operational experience: monitoring, observability, resiliency, infrastructure, middleware, cloud, application support
- Experience supporting FX or capital markets platforms with front-to-back processing understanding
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic service improvements across governance, risk, and control frameworks
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across business, operations, and engineering teams
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux, CI/CD pipelines, and messaging platforms (Kafka, MQ); programming/scripting in Java and Python
