Overview

In this role you will lead and design enterprise-grade infrastructure across on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments to meet client needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor peers, and translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions. The role focuses on delivering resilient architectures in regulated and service-driven contexts, with strong emphasis on customer outcomes. You will engage with clients on design, proofs of concept, and implementation, delivering high-quality, actionable designs.

Responsibilities
  • Support multiple clients across diverse technologies
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Consult with customers across cross-team environments
  • Document and develop designs, processes and procedures
  • Operate within ITIL/ISO20000 ITSM framework
  • Gather requirements, design solutions, build proofs of concept and implement solutions
  • Deliver compelling presentations and reports to customers
  • Serve as escalation point for major incidents/investigations
Key requirements
  • Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture & Design across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Virtualization technologies: VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, KVM
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity planning and DR technologies (SRM, Pure Storage)
  • Storage & Backup: SAN/NAS, Fibre Channel, Veritas NetBackup, Veeam, LTO libraries
  • Data Centre Modernization & Migration, cross-platform integration (Linux, Windows)
  • Network Architecture & Security: Cisco, firewall rules, VPNs, secure access
  • Identity & Access Management: Active Directory, Okta, Microsoft PKI, certificate lifecycle management
  • Technical Leadership and project delivery under deadline pressure
  • Documentation & Solution Design for infrastructure projects
