Backend Developer

Location

Montreal, Quebec, Canada – only candidates located in Quebec are considered.

Contract

• Position to be filled as soon as possible
• Full‑time, 40 hours per week
• Salary based on profile and experience

Responsibilities

• Define and analyze client requirements
• Develop, maintain, and optimise applications
• Create tests and perform functional validation
• Ensure follow‑up, communication, and reporting on project progress
• Provide maintenance and user support

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of backend experience
• Strong experience with JavaScript, Node.js and NestJS
• Excellent understanding of complex infrastructures: API architectures (microservices, Service Mesh), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) and integrations (databases, Salesforce)
• Ability to quickly adapt to a new technical environment
• Experience with backend integrations with CRMs such as Salesforce
• Excellent communication skills with different types of stakeholders
• Fluency in French and English; English bilingual, French essential
