VodafoneThree - Network Engineer

As part of Vodafone Business Technology Solutions, you will deliver professional engineering services for both assurance (faults) and MACD activities. You’ll work with project engineers to ensure on-time project delivery, manage risk and costs, and uphold quality and safety standards. The role combines remote work with occasional site visits across the UK, focusing on Cisco LAN/WLAN delivery and customer-facing support. • Assure/Incident management of Cisco LAN and WLAN
• Manage day-to-day project and provide activities
• Meet performance targets and SLAs
• Escalate issues to avoid SLA breaches
• Maintain site documentation
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Project Managers, Service Desk and High Care Delivery
• Attend and repair customer faults within agreed timescales
• Travel to customer sites in Midlands/South UK on ad-hoc basis; standby rota when up to speed

• Extensive experience with Cisco LAN and Wireless LAN technologies, including switching and IP addressing
• Good understanding of Cisco Voice Technologies
• Experience configuring networks in a managed data-networking environment; networking qualification
• Self-motivated with ability to build customer relationships and work in a team
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication
• Holds valid SC Clearance or is SC clearable
