Master IP telephony support with Riopel Consultant in Saint-Jérôme, combining remote work and on-site client interventions across Québec. Configure systems and resolve voice issues.

As a VoIP Specialist reporting to the Director of Operations, you will deploy, configure, update and support client IP telephony solutions. Your work includes SIP trunks, dial plans, call queues and voicemail. Collaborate closely with technicians, system administrators and the network team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure IP PBX systems, phones, gateways and softphones
  • Manage SIP trunks, DIDs, number porting and provider relationships
  • Design dial plans, auto attendants, queues, schedules and voicemail
  • Resolve call quality, echo, dropped call and registration issues
  • Diagnose voice VLAN, QoS, PoE, NAT and firewall issues

Requirements:

  • Three years of IP telephony installation, configuration and support
  • Solid SIP protocol and voice codec knowledge
  • Strong TCP/IP, VLAN, QoS, DHCP, DNS, NAT and VPN knowledge
  • Bilingual spoken French and English communication
  • Valid driver's licence and client-site travel availability
