Responsibilities
  • Lead data strategy, diligence and execution across the fund and portfolio companies
  • Collaborate with c-suite investors and data technology counterparts to align data initiatives with business goals
  • Drive data diligence efforts and create value creation plans
  • Conduct data maturity assessments and monitor progress of data initiatives
  • Implement data strategies to improve operations, efficiency and innovation
  • Ensure data governance and information security throughout initiatives
Key requirements
  • Experience in a VP of Data / Head of Data role within financial services or consulting, focused on data diligence, value creation and execution
  • Strong technical background: Python, Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit)
  • Advanced experience in data maturity assessments and developing data strategies for transformation and measurable outcomes
  • Deep knowledge of data governance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA) and data/info security
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management, able to translate complex concepts to c-suite and push back when needed
