VP, Trading Systems Developer

In this role you design and build high-performance trading systems to minimize latency and maximize throughput across core trading workflows. You will support multiple businesses such as OTC, Market Making, Prop, and Systematic Trading, while driving thoughtful AI adoption to boost team performance. You’ll work at the intersection of software engineering and infrastructure, shaping scalable, deterministic systems in a crypto-finance environment. • Design and build high-performance trading systems for market data ingestion, order routing and execution
• Develop cross-cutting solutions supporting OTC, Market Making, Prop and Systematic Trading
• Own issues end-to-end with strong analytical and problem-solving focus
• Champion AI adoption to improve productivity and outcomes across the team
• Optimize multiple layers of the technology stack from application to OS and hardware

• Excellent core Java skills
• Extensive Java Application and Garbage Collection optimization
• Deep knowledge of concurrency and multithreaded programming
• Experience in developing low latency pricing and trading systems
• Knowledge of low latency messaging (Aeron, 29West)
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, multicast, routing, switching) and kernel bypass technologies (DPDK, Solarflare/OpenOnload, RDMA)
• Familiarity with Linux internals (scheduling, memory management, performance tuning)
