Overview

In this role, you support the development, evaluation and deployment of technology solutions within the Wealth Advice & Governance division, with a focus on Project Advice and implementing Conquest and Iress systems. You look for opportunities to increase capacity and reduce risk across the department using emerging technologies like AI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure governance and compliance while driving efficiency. This is a permanent, full-time role based in London, offering a pathway to influence technology strategy in wealth management.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor vendor updates and releases (including Conquest), assess process implications and maintain compliance
  • Track post-deployment performance and identify optimization opportunities
  • Identify control gaps, security vulnerabilities, and technology risks; escalate and mitigate
  • Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, automation, analytics) and build business cases for modernization
  • Maintain documentation for audit readiness and governance oversight
  • Collaborate with business owners, technology stakeholders, and Governance Oversight Team on strategy and priorities
  • Collect and analyse user feedback to inform continuous improvement
  • Support exploration of AI and emerging tech to increase capacity and efficiency
Key requirements
  • Experience supporting technology implementations or systems deployments
  • Proven ability to manage technology projects, evaluate solutions, and engage with stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience with emerging technologies including AI, automation, or analytics
  • Confidence with using RBC Assist Pro and similar AI tools; experience building agents and writing scripts
  • Robust knowledge of technology governance, risk management, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication skills translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences
