About the Role

We’re seeking a Wealth Advisor to join a growing, independent wealth management practice serving the DC Metro area. You’ll advise federal government professionals and contractors, helping them plan and manage their wealth with a long-term perspective.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for clients, typically in the $3-8M range
• Build your book through business development and referrals
• Collaborate with in-house planning and operations teams to deliver a seamless client experience
• Coordinate with investment, planning, and operations teams to execute recommendations and maintain client service standards

What We’re Looking For

• Series 65 (required)
• Portable book of business, or the capacity to grow into one
• Strong intellect, curiosity, and a relationship-first approach
• Solid understanding of investment principles, capital-markets basics, and portfolio construction in a discretionary or advisory setting
• Track record of retaining clients and cultivating new ones through trust-based relationships
• Experience with federal employees or government contractors is a plus
• CFA designation xhqgsiq is a plus
• Open to advisors at any career stage
