  • Build and maintain responsive websites, templates, layouts and front-end components
  • Implement and manage website content within CMS platforms
  • Translate designs, wireframes and requirements into functional, responsive web pages
  • Test websites across browsers, devices and platforms to ensure quality and consistency
  • Identify and resolve usability, accessibility, performance and presentation issues
  • Support website launches, troubleshooting, incident resolution and ongoing maintenance
  • Work collaboratively with developers, designers, SEO specialists and Client Success teams
  • Follow development standards, best practices and agreed delivery processes
  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support delivery of high-quality websites that meet client objectives and commercial goals
  • Work throughout the project lifecycle from build and testing through launch and ongoing support
  • Report to Matthew Chatfield

Requirements

  • Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills with practical front-end development experience
  • Good understanding of responsive design principles and modern front-end development practices
  • Knowledge of website accessibility standards and browser compatibility requirements
  • Experience working with CMS platforms such as Craft CMS, WordPress, Shopify or similar
  • Ability to convert designs and wireframes into accurate, responsive web pages
  • Familiarity with version control systems, testing methodologies and troubleshooting techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying solutions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
  • Experience with Craft CMS, WordPress or Shopify theme development
  • Knowledge of Twig, PHP or similar templating languages
  • Understanding of technical SEO, Core Web Vitals and website performance optimisation
  • Experience using Figma or similar design collaboration tools
  • Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools and workflows
  • Experience working on websites for small and medium-sized businesses
  • Understanding of website hosting, cloud services (AWS or similar) and web security best practices
  • Awareness of analytics, user behaviour and conversion optimisation principles
