In this role you will lead and support Windows-based cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring 24/7 availability for client applications. You will scale and improve cloud services, provide 4th line support, and drive automation with PowerShell and Puppet. Responsibilities
  • Install and configure Windows solutions on AWS
  • Scale and improve cloud services and capabilities
  • Provide 4th line technical support for customers
  • Develop and customize Windows environments; automate with PowerShell and Puppet
  • Potentially lead a small engineering team and collaborate with Windows/Linux engineers
  • Ensure applications run smoothly 24/7 and meet reliability targets
Key requirements
  • Good commercial experience with Windows Server
  • Experience with configuration management and automation tools (Puppet)
  • Working knowledge of AWS services and EC2
  • PowerShell experience desired
  • Experience with provisioning and monitoring tools
  • Networking (TCP/IP) skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Managerial skills are a plus
  • Degree (preferable in a quantitative subject)
