Overview

In questa role you will advance Windows-based infrastructure through automation and DevOps practices within a fintech client environment. You’ll own design, delivery, and operation of platform servers, storage, security, and monitoring, shaping the OS build and deployment pipelines. This senior position includes technical leadership with a focus on scalable, automated Windows platforms. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals to deliver high-profile infrastructure for financial services clients.

Responsibilities
  • Design and operate platform servers (physical and virtual)
  • Automate OS build processes and deployment pipelines
  • Manage storage systems and capacity planning
  • Oversee platform security (networks and endpoints)
  • Implement end-to-end platform monitoring
  • Develop and refine OS build workflows
  • Support cloud/IaaS/PaaS initiatives (where relevant)
Key requirements
  • 3+ years Windows systems experience
  • PowerShell DSC and advanced PowerShell scripting
  • Automation-driven mindset
  • Basic networking (TCP/IP) including Cisco
  • Virtualization experience (Hyper-V 2012 R2, SCVMM 2012R2)
  • Active Directory and Windows Server 2008R2/2012R2, IIS 7/8
  • Experience with blade servers and high-density estates
  • Knowledge of VMware; exposure to AWS desirable
  • Configuration management (Ansible)
